Monastrell is a late season, intermediate-day onion which grows best in latitudes 32-42. Remarkably uniform, slightly flattened, red globes reaching 3.5"-4" in diameter. These onions hold well in the garden and are also great for storage lasting up to 6 months! Strong resistance to sunscald and a high percentage of bulbs are single centered.
