This style basket is our most popular basket. It makes a Wonderful market and storage basket. Coming from the Bolgatanga region of Ghana, these baskets are traditionally used for carrying goods to and from the market. Weavers in the region use the abundant Veta vera grass to weave these incredibly hardy, useful baskets. The leather wrapped handle adds to the durability. Natural, pumpkin orange, navy blue, and lime green colors. Approximately 15 inches Across, 10 inches Tall (plus handle). Our baskets are a part of the Fair Trade Federation. The basket pictured is the one you will receive.
